I ask a Ford tech the same question. The tire pressure sensors that were used on the '04 to '08 F150 wheels will not work on the '09-'11 F150 tire pressure sensor system. That is the type that are held on by band.

I want to buy a set of 20's like in the OP picture if the new type tire pressure sensors will mount correctly.

If I get the Lariat 18's sold and can afford to buy new tires I will let you know. I see no reason why the 04-08 wheels would not accept the valve stem TPMS just as any aftermarket wheel would.
