Default Help for changing a broken side mirror glass...

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty mechanically inept. I have a 2010 Supercrew with manual telescoping tow mirrors. The driver's side glass is broken. Darn thing just shattered when i was driving on a dirt road and dealership side I broke it. Whatever.

In any event, I need to change out the glass and have seen a few threads on adding LED lights (with pictures). Can any of you who have changed out this part, give me some simple instructions, preferably with pictures. I'm a history teacher, not a mechanic, and really don't want to break any parts trying to scrum around in there with a screwdriver trying to pry the mirror off in the wrong place.

Thanks for your help!

First, get a replacement mirror. Then you will be ready to replace the broken one. There are spring loaded clips in the mount that you release with the screwdriver. You can look at the new mirror to see them.
