Good to know... Hard to tell which side it was coming from. Bout to recheck everything and go get it alighted.

15% off Bilstein shocks and struts. Not anything serious, and yes AutoAnything always has their 20% off but that never includes Bilsteins. This is my cart right now...

EDIT: cant get pictures to work. But the 5100 0-2" for the fronts for my 2012 are $107 a pop and the 0-1 for the back are $72. Throw in a 3inch ReadyLIFT block for $120 and we're in business!

I shopped around and even local shops with a military discount didn't beat Amazon, all 4 for $398/zero tax/free shipping and here in 3 days... Black Friday might be a different story...

What's this bottoming out business? Anything we need to worry about or cause any damage? I have 104k on original shocks and was thinking about Bilsteins as replacements, first I heard of this.

So the Bilsteins will stop at a certain point when pushing down. Instead of forcing a wicked angle and causing more stress on the ball joints. The bottoming out is a good thing in my opinion (and many others).

The bump stop from the original strut is used. Same amount of travel unless you slide the snapring up to gain lift. At most it's 2 ½" less travel but I tighter shock. There's only 30k on my 2011 so the original shocks were still in great shape. Just since putting them I last night, I notice a big difference in how much better they respond to bumps and pot holes.

The bottoming out I was worried about was actually just a loose sway bar nut. Everything is right now and driving great.
