These level kits are a sham. They actually make the front sit higher than the back. The pre runner look is for tnose trucks... not regular f150s.

Not at all. Too many buy the biggest kit they can, or what worked for someone else.

A tape measure is your friend.

No. You need an alignment because you just changed the suspension angles by adding the level. It’s highly likely you’re out of alignment now.

Did you measure stock how much higher the front was than the rear before installing the level?

i did measure the front and it was 2.75 lower than the back before installing front leveling kit. i figured the 2.25 would be perfect since thats what most people recommended. I ordered a 2in rear lift kit for the back since it 4x4 already comes with a 1 5/8 rear lift kit to try to even it out. sorry im not sure i understood but you said the alignment will not help correct the high front? if it does i could save myself the money of adding the rear lift kit

i wanted to wait to align till I installed the rear 2 in lift kit to avoid paying for alignment twice.

A proper alignment will not lower the front end.
The alignment will orient the wheels properly (straighten them in 2 directions). I will no change the ride height.

thanks, i purchase a 2in and 3 in rear level kit and taking both to a shop tomorrow to see what they think its best to level. i measured it today and the front was close to inch higher so i not positive an extra 3/8in in the back from the stock 4x4 inch lift will be enough.

Raising the back does not require an additional alignment.
