Default With Heavy Duty Trailer Towing

Does anyone know if there is a difference between "with heavy duty trailer towing" and "tow package'?
My truck has the first option but does not have extended mirrors, which I thought were on a tow package.
My truck has the 3.73 gears and is 2wd.
Thanks, Pete

If it's a 3.7L, I doubt it's equipped with the 7-lug 9.75 axle or the heavy payload stuff you'd want.

Prob has a class IV receiver and trailer brake controls.

Max Tow with Max Payload is the 7-lug (possibly full float) 9.75 with beefier springs, trailer brake control and the dumbo mirrors.

Which tow-related items do you have?

9.75, 7 lug is not a full float axle, just has seven lugs because at the time, the HD wheels from ford had seven lug holes. For 2015, ford came out with HD 6 lug wheels and same axle rating as before.

Thanks, gents. I see "heavy duty trailer towing" and "max tow" do differ. I have the lighter duty one as far as the equipment on my truck.
Appreciate the help.
