Default Heated/cooled seats

We have a 2014 f150 with heated and cooled seats. The passenger seat seems to work fine but we are having trouble with the driver seat. The heat comes on when we start the truck using remote start. But once put the key in and take off it no longer heats. The buttons are let up on the screen as if it is turned on but just doesn’t stay warm. Any thoughts? Thanks

Here is thread I posted in recently. I also in that post link to another thread.

Very common. There are other threads as well, but most point in the same direction. You should come up with some options (hopefully).

Edit: The 2016 I drive requires input to turn heated seats on once vehicle is manually started (after it's been remote started). Also during remote start there are not lights.

It sounds like you are saying the lights are on during remote start and they stay on once you 'start' the vehicle, however no heat.

Listen for a click coming from under passenger seat. It clicks when turned on and turned off. You may hear it automatically click off. An experiment to find the click is to turn it on and off manually just to know what you're listening for, relative to when you push the button.

the lights on the buttons come on after we start the truck and stay on. I did here a click from under the seat when we turned the heated seats on. But driver side is not heating.

The click you hear is when you turn it on (probably). If you can keep the environment ofr a few minutes you may hear it click again (that is it shutting off). The lights will remain on. Difficult to hear while driving with the radio playing but no impossible once you know what to listen for.

I'd suggest at the very least, disconnecting the plug and looking for a burnt wire. In doing so, you may disturb the connection just enough that it makes a better connection and will continue working.
