It depends. There are a few different headlight versions on our trucks. Incandescent, projectors and HID. They all use the same housing but some may require additional components to work.
Yes, as long as they are all halogen headlights. I believe the 2013/2014 Raptors with HID headlights have slightly different housings than the 2013/2014 FX4s, but they are all interchangeable.
Hit a deer and need to replace one headlight. From the Ford dealership one replacement is $300. On eBay I found a dealer selling a pair of Raptor/SVT/HD headlights for under $300. They are NIB and are Ford originals. Just curious if they are the same as the originals that came on my truck, they look really close. Just curious...
I have actually have aftermarket projectors on it currently and visually they look good, I actually don't like the output. The lamp size is smaller than the original and they just don't put out enough light for me. I wasn't unsatisfied with the original, it was just cheaper at that time to buy a new set of assemblies versus one Ford original. So now I am wanting to buy new Ford originals and upgrade to LED lamps.
