headlights flashing

2013 5.0 scab with hid kit installed
Been working great all winter but this morning both headlights started flashing off and back on at about 5 second intervals.
Wouldnt be bulb or ballast since its both at same time - leaves me with trucks electrical.
Anyone seen this or have ideas?

All connections were good. I unplugged headlights to avoid ticket. Gonna run a new switch wire to them from my relay panel I think.
As I said it has nothing to do with bulbs or ballasts. Ive been installing hid kits for many years. Both headlights went off and on at exact same time meaning its the power or ground suply from truck electrical.
Im leaning more towards a bad DRL circuit.
