Default Headlight Parking Lights Shorted

Hey all. I replaced my factory headlights with aftermarket ones. Everything was going great until I tried connecting aftermarket raptor grill lights to the headlight parking lights. The dang thing make an electrical shock and then both of them went out and I assume shorted both out. However the low beams, high beams, and turn signals work fine. I tried fuses but all seemed ok. And the raptor grill marker lights work from a different power source. Hoping it’s not the wire that runs to the wiring harness and it’s just an easy fix I overlooked. Please help me. Thanks. 2013 F150 XLT

The short circuit likely pissed off the BCM so it disabled that output.

You need a scan tool to evaluate and, if necessary, reset the FET protection circuit after any needed repair is made.

BCM fuse F30 runs the front parking lamp circuits. Check to see if 1) it is not blown and 2) it is HOT when the headlight switch is in PARK or HEADLIGHT position.

If the fuse is NOT blown and is NOT HOT, then....

I bought a obdlink mx+
That's a good start. Now you need Forscan, either on a Windows machine (free extended license available) or the Android Lite version ($5 on Google Play).

Don't know. Google it.
