Tonight I had better lighting, and realized that turning the screwdriver counter clockwise (as the manual says to) actually riases the angle of the lamps.
I went clockwise and watched the angle drop.

(Copied from the Ford Manual)
5. Locate the vertical adjuster on
each headlamp, then use a P2
Philips screwdriver to turn the
adjuster either counterclockwise (to
adjust down) or clockwise (to adjust
up) aligning the upper edge of the
light pattern up to the horizontal
line.

It's in the manual. Just remember to drop your cutoff line on the wall about 4 inches to compensate for your lift.

Yeah I just checked the two manuals side by side and they are different. I think there might be incorrect info in the 3rd printing of the 2010 manual...

Yes, they caught it and corrected it. Must have balled up a few people, thinking they doing the right thing, going by the book, but it did not work. Oh well, mistakes happen, at least someone caught it and Ford corrected it.

I have a 14 XLT and the book says you can only adjust the verticle not the horizontal. I feel like my lights shine too close to the truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
