I've been looking at getting a new exhaust on my 5.4. I called my local muffler shop to find out how much if would cost to put a complete exhaust system on my truck including headers. The guy is giving me a great deal on the flowmasters, but said he doesnt want anything to do with the headers. He said there would be too much time and work involved because of how hard the headers are to get too. Anyone else ran into this problem? or do I need to seek out a new muffler shop?

 

Find a performance shop, not a muffler shop.
