Default Having Second Thoughts, Thinking About Selling

I bought a 2011 fx4 luxury package, it was around 39,000 or so, I'm 20 and for some reason I'm having serious second thoughts, I love the truck but for some reason I feel like I should've tried to buy a house am I crazy?

you're 20 and bought a $39,000 truck, yes you should have bought a house instead. The housing market is very low right now and can pick up a house cheap, and as long as the economy doesn't get worse from people buying things they can't afford then you will make money on the house. The truck, you have already lost a lot of money by driving it off the lot.

At your age, given the current interest rates and home prices... yes. You should have bought a house. The house will be worth more in 5 years. The truck will have half it's value.

Be like me- I bought a new truck, new jet ski, and a house all within a year! And on top of that have a Mustang as well.

My mortgage guy told me to buy a truck cause rates won't be changing, my other car was in bad shape and im an electrician so I need a truck, I'm a union electrician so lay offs happen ALOT, I can afford to pay of my truck if I had to, so I'm not in bad shape and I plan on keeping the truck for a long time, my worst fear is being laid off and not being able to afford a mortgage, the truck I can afford

I agree someone your age really dosn't need a new $40,000 truck, but if you work hard and have lots of money way not! If you don't have lots of money you can sell me your truck for $20,000

What kind of career or income do you have to afford a truck of that cost? What kind of payments for how many years is that? I am 55 and have been on the same job for 27 yrs and would not pay that much for a truck
