We'll guys wondering if any of y'all had tried installing the f150 Harley insert grill on a stx f150. I friend of mine is selling it to me but the surround of the grill is cracked I was thinking if I could use mine. I tried looking on Google but had no luck, has anyone of y'all tried it?

 

I think as long your grill isn't a 2013/14 you should be able to since the for the 2013 models the grill surround is different don't know how but its what I've been told but other than that you should be good to go

 

The 13/14 model inserts won't fit in the 09-12 surrounds from what I heard. I traded grills with a guy who had a 12 so we had to swap the entire surround and insert. If you swap the surrounds you probably will break some of the clips at the top but you don't need them. Just watch the YouTube on how to remove grill

 

the 2014 STX Sport Grill is the exact same thing as the Harley grill, just with black bars instead of brushed aluminum. They will swap.

So the STX sport insert is not compatible with the regular STX C-clamp grill surround but It is compatible with the Harley surround.

 

Yea that's what I thought too they look exactly the same
