I would talk to ford parts and see what the price really is before moving ahead. I've purchased an fx model at one point for under 200 from the dealer.

If its in good shape, that's as good a deal as you're gonna get. Damn grilles are expensive. I was gonna get a Harley Grille for my 2010 FX4, but when I priced it, I almost crapped.......

The '14 STX sport grill is over $650 from Tasca and that's before the paint job. It's the same grill as the HD grill except the bars have a different finish and that must be what drives up the price even more on the HD grill. They're both ridiculously overpriced new so this would be a good deal, assuming nothing's broken on it.
But it's still over 2x what I paid for my take-off FX4 grill.

The STX Sport grill comes painted black with an unpainted grill surround.
The price keeps going up and up. I paid $433 for mine during Tasca's Black Friday Sale about 6 months ago.

I'm convinced that I'll never replace my fx grille. But the ridiculous prices are just that.... Ridiculous!

Probably a better idea to buy a new truck with the grille you want than to buy a different grille for your current truck. Of course I'm being sarcastic but when people are paying close to a thousand dollars for a plastic grille that still needs paint on the surround I mean c'mon.
