Ok, so is the black plastic dip or the gray?

It's called "smoke". Not gunmetal or black.

Is that a similar color to the charcoal one? And how exactly did you take your emblems off? or did you just spray right on them and then pick all the excess off?

It isn't really a color, it's a light smokey tint. (But don't use this on head/taillights) It took me 3-4 coats to get my desired color over the chrome.
I taped off the area with newspaper and painter's tape, and sprayed right on the truck. The smoke doesn't affect the black inner part, so no need to tape it off. Any overspray that you get on the truck can be removed with WD40 on a rag.

Sweet build man and I definitely like the idea of your rear console and Expedition seats. I think that would be really cool to see. Keep up the good work!

Thanks bro. Appreciate it. Glad a stock truck still gets some respect! getting the parts i lost from my headlights together so the retrofit will be finished promptly after. Then I think some rigid D2's are going to be ordered.

Heck yeah they do! Mine is still stock as of right now. Ordering my Bilsteins and 285s this week though. Those D2s are pretty bright. Make sure to take some night pics for us. I will prob do the Smittybilt light bar and some lights next month sometime.

Alrighty, put my dash back to stock for awhile.. Had the Stealthmount in the truck for about 6 months, and just decided that I really needed to re-do my panel. Awful prototype build quality! It bothered me that such a beautiful interior had a crappy looking piece like that. Now that I've had it stock for a few hours I am really enjoying having my radio hard buttons back. So, looks like there's going to be a change of plans. I think I'm going to try something a little bit different next time around...Thinking something on the top dash tray next, that retracts or tilts out of the way. That way, I can take my iPad out as I please, and use it as a dashcam!

Hello again, old buttony friends:
