Default hard shifting

so my 2014 f150 supercab with 3.7l engine and 6 speed trans is shifting very hard but only when cold. when i start the truck and start driving im going between 40 -80km/h let off the accelerator for some one to turn. once i get back on the pedal again it slams in to a gear, jerks the truck and makes a loud bang. i took it to the dealership and we weren't able to replicate it. since then it kinda disappeared for a couple months. but it is back, again it only happens when the trans is cold, once i drive a couple minutes it disappears. any ideas on what it could be

go to the dealer and wait until your engine is cold. Eat some lunch in your truck or something (with it not running). THEN tell them about it again. try to show them

my transmission was slamming me forward when stopping, it went from 3rd gear straight to 1st gear. my dealer said it was normal.
I took it back and the 2nd time, they greased my "bump-stop" or something.

dealers are scumbags, just keep bugging them.

I need to visit this dealer! They greased your "bump stop" But what did they do to your truck? Lol, I swear this forum gets more entertaining by the minute, I love it!

Any good tech will need to verify the concern before he can properly diagnose the problem. That doesn't make him a scumbag. He's doing his job correctly. Or would you rather he just guess?? That would make him a scumbag. When I call the tech hot line, the first thing they ask is "did you verify the concern?"

Let's get this recurrent concern resolved, nosaj81. Since your previous visit at the dealer wasn't conclusive, I recommend seeking a second opinion. Feel free to choose other dealers, as they are owned and operated independently. To locate the nearest, click on this: http://www.ford.ca/dealerships/locate/ Please get back to me with the dealer info, booking arrangements, VIN, odometer reading, registered name on the vehicle, and daytime phone number via PM; I’ll loop in your customer service manager.

I had issues with my 2007 Misfiring and one of the Cats was clogged, I asked them if I could leave it at the dealer, and take my keys, and I would be back in the morning for a test drive, since it only did it cold. This was after 3 tries of them saying they couldn't repeat it. The head tech finally said we will check it out.
