Hard as hell tranny shifts
To start with I mite say my 2011 truck had smooth as silk tranny shifts. Now my 2012 shifts were smooth as hell for the first 300 miles and now the shifts between 2-3 and 4-5 hard hard as hell. Why all of a sudden is this thing went to hell. It has 1600 miles on it and you never know what your going to get but 95% of the time the tranny really bangs in these two shifts. Is there a TSB that mite help this or have I not put enough miles on it to teach the damn thing how to shift. My truck is as nice as a new truck can get but the tranny just doesn't seem right.

2011 Screw FX4 Max Tow
There is. My 2011 did the same thing, they cleared and reflashed the computer and it has been fone for the last 7k miles. Mine acted up more when cold than warm. Took the dealer about an hour to fix it, there is a "learn" procedure they have to drive it thru

Just got mine (11 5.0 4x4 crew 3000 miles) back from the shop. Real hard 1-2 upshift. This is what the invoice said- "Removed pan and valve body, disassembled and inspected found several valves sticking in bores of body, reassembled for core and installed new valve body, reinstalled pan, programmed new solenoid numbers and strategies, retest normal transmissionmoperation at this time." The 1-2 upshift seems real smooth but I had a 3-4 stutter for the first couple of shifts till it warmed up, then everything worked perfect.. The tech said to "drive for a couple months while it learned my driving style". He also said do not hesitate to bring it back after that if I was not happy.
