Hankook Dynapro ATM or Nitto Terra Grappler
So after spending some time at the local truck tire/lift etc shop I've decided to run 305/55R20 on the Ford Performance 6 spoke 20x8.5 wheels and a leveling kit.
I've got lots of experience with the Dynapro ATM and love their ride and longevity. I know many guys are running Nittos and the local shop is pushing them as well for the more aggressive look. I do mostly on road driving about 18k miles a year.
How are you guys liking the Nitto?

I have had 2 sets of nitto's and love them. My brothers also run the nitto's and have never had a problem between the 7 sets we have gone through. mine have probably about 40000 and will be good to 55 to 65k. They are supper smooth, quiet and handle all weather very well. My dad had a set of the hankook's and liked them but his next set will be nitto's. The nitto's also look a little wider to me.

wait. what?
I wasn't impressed with the Nittos when I had them. I know quite a few people that feel the same way. they just seem to do everything in a pretty mediocre fashion. I've never used the Hankooks myself but I was an advisor for Ford up until recently and I heard countless good things from people who had them on their F150s and Expeditions. the Toyo A/T has always been my favorite but I'd definitely consider the Hankook.

Not a huge fan of the old nittos, never had good luck with them. The new G2's seem to be a lot better then the older ones they replace. But between the two I would look at the nitto's as they are load range D and will ride better.

Not trying to get off topic...but how do the BFG KO2's compare to Nitto? I currently have the original KOs which I've heard good things about (got the rims/tires used, so I inherited the tire choice). In the fall I'll probably be needing new tires and KO2's are real expensive..looking at around $1550 mounted and balanced. Whereas the Nitto G2s are about $1300.

Are you set in these choices?
I had the terra grapplers, I did like them. However.... I just put on some bfg k02's and I like them a lot more. They wear better and grip better in my opinion
