Hankook Dynapro ATM
There are plenty of threads mentioning this tire, but I started a new one since I'm looking for specific info from those who've moved from the stock Pirelli Scorpions to the Hankook Dynapro ATM. How does this tire compare to the Scorpion in terms of road manners (noise, handling, etc.)? I'm most concerned with this factor since I spend most of my time on the highway, and I don't want to take a step backwards from the Scorpions.
I had Dynapro ATMs on my last truck and thought they were great (especially for the price), but it was a completely different truck and tire size. Thanks in advance for the input!

I didn't come from a pierlli but can attest that they are a hell of a tire. Tons of trucks run them around here. Sitting at an intersection it's almost a sure bet you will see a set on a truck.

I run them on both of my F-150s. I drive a wide combination of terrain. Not much intense off roading but a lot of highway, a lot of gravel roads, a lot of dirt roads, and a significant amount of fields and pastures. I have zero complaints about these tires. They hold up to gravel better than any tire I have ever had. My latest set has over 60,000 miles on them and they still have plenty of life left.
There is zero noticeable road noise and the handling is just fine.An additional plus is that they look great on our trucks.

Thanks for the answers guys!
I see that Ford is actually using the Dynapro ATM on the new 4WD F-150s with the 20" wheel, and I don't think they would select a tire that exhibits excessive road noise for that application.
Another thing I like about the Dynapro ATM is that the weight seems to be reasonable. The BFG A/T KO2 is certainly a nice tire, but at about 13lbs more each than than Dynapro, that can't be good for gas mileage. I understand the KO2 is a beefier tire with a higher load rating, but that's not needed for my application. The Dynapro does actually have a higher load rating than the stock Scorpions though.

Well, I went ahead and decided to order a set from Discount Tire. Ended up being $815 including install/tpms rebuild/disposal/tax, and then Hankook is running a $50 rebate until the end of the month which makes it about $765 for the set. Not too bad! Could've done it slightly cheaper by ordering through Discount Tire Direct and then having Wal-Mart do the install, but I've had better luck with Discount Tire than Wal-Mart for installation and service.
They should be in on Friday, and I'll let you guys know what I think.

Edit: I see you went through wal-mart, so you ordered from them too.

I just came on here today to ask about this same question about the tire. I have stock 14 xlt 4x4. What size are moat are ya'll running? I was thinking either stock 275/65/18 or maybe going to 1 size up. I'm supposed to be able to get these tires for $500 OTD.

I made the decision to go with stock 275/55-20. Going a bit bigger would certainly look better, but I really didn't want to deal with any of the drawbacks of going to a different sized tire.
