I feel your pain, last October or November, can't recall right now, my truck sustained 8000k worth of hail damage. It was the size of baseballs here in Omaha,ne. My dads 2011 screw was 1023$$ in damage. Had to cut new roofs in both our trucks.

Good luck with the repairs. It will be fine and never be able to notice any damage after its fixed.

I was just north of DFW airport, during those tornadoes last week. $8300 on my 2009 with 12000 miles on it.

Man I hate seeing that. The newer vehicles have come a long ways in many ways; unfortunately keeping weight down means thin sheet metal.

Back in the late 70s I had a 58 Chevy pickup that took a hail storm that battered many vehicles without leaving a mark on it. You could literally pound you closed fist down hard on the fenders without damaging the old tank.

Of course that old 283 couldn't hold a candle to the new 5.0 in my 2011. And the interior was a little less fancy.

Yeah I tread get!ting caught out in the hail

Remember when you could sit on the hood of a car/truck and didn't completely cave in?

Unfortunately I have been were you are, I had the truck for 2 months and it was destroyed by golf ball size hail on the 4th of July. I did my research via the internet and found a well respected paintless dent guy http://www.dentwerkspdr.com/

The insurance adjust told me the roof would have to be replaced! because of the edge dents.

I brought it to Jake and in just 2 days he removed every single dent to the point where you cannot see any of them even under very bright light.

I was and still am amazed, I was so happy my brand new truck did not have to see the body shop or get a new roof. And it again looked brand new

What I see looks no worse than were I was at...its fixable bud
