Default Grip tape for side steps

I have slipped several times on my side steps getting in to my truck. I have seen a lot of guys have fixed this problem, but I was wondering what everyone is using and where to get it. Thanks in advance.

I got some from Ace hardware by the foot. I've also seen rolls sold in some hardware stores and online. It kept coming off my steps and I eventually got tired of it and pulled my steps off and sold them. I got rampage steps now and love them. I think there is also a mod where people are putting brackets on the OEM steps to pull them out away from the truck some since half he step is under the cab.

Oilfieldcash - I don't think my wife will let me spend that kind of money on my truck. Besides I really like the look of the oem side steps.

Ccr90 - I don't think we have any princess autos down here in the states. Do you know what brand it was?

Thought you guys had em as well, in any event, I'm sure Harbor Freight would have it too. Even amazon.

Any boat shop would have it. I've even seen it at Home Despot and Blowes. It's just nonskid tape, the same thing you see on stairsteps.

Any Skate board shop will sell you a 30" by 10" pc of griptape for $5 bucks and it sticks to any clean surface. I used some for my rear door sills.

I bought my rampage steps for round $300 CDN and sold the stockers for $150. Not a huge investment for a better safer step.

I bought some grip tape on ebay for $6 and had it in a couple days. The roll I bought was enough to do both steps.
