Any competent tech services the emergency brake when servicing the rear brakes.

OP can't provide clear info about whether it is the shifting into Park, or application of the emergency brake, that causes the noise. Or if he has used the emergency brake in 3 months since work was done.

Ok, let me be clear since I wasn’t specific enough. Like I said, the noise occurred once I put the truck in park and about the time I hit the parking brake. I use the parking brake every time I drive my truck regardless of me parking on an incline or not. This particular time, I had stopped the truck facing downhill when I put the truck in park and applied the parking brake is when I heard the noise. I do not drive the truck everyday, more like once a week.

That is something in your brain, not in the world.
