How many different grill styles has Ford produced to fit the 2009-2014 models. And, do they fit all models with out mods.? Thanks

 

Here's one, '12 XLT with gaudy chrome package. Grille surround used to be chrome, had it PTMed.

 

They made several different looking grills, FX4, XLT, Lariat, Platinum, etc, but I believe any 9-14 grill will swap out. This is the lariat style.

 

I think 13-14 models the grill attached slightly different so that 09-12 would not fit.

I think you're correct.

 

You can swap all years 09-14 as long as you swap with the painted/chrome surround. 2 bolts and 6 nuts. Easy...took only 10 mins.

Grille and shell are all interchangeable. The inserts are not, if you look at the 13-14, the corners are the same. The older ones the bottom corners are slightly more "sharp" than the top. So the newer inserts will not work with the older shells and vice versa. But if you swap the whole thing, youre fine.

The 10 thru 12 look like a 90° angle whereas the the 13 thru 14 are rounded at the bottom corners.
