Question Gremlin with driver's power window ?

Yesterday, the driver's power window would not go down. The other 3 were OK.
I pulled over, cycled the truck to stop and then restart...all OK.
Any thoughts?

Jack

You fed it after mid-night didn't you, or did it get wet. LOL

My 07 did that, before a wire broke in the wire harness between the door and truck body. Might be a good place to look and see if there are any kinks in the wiring in that harness.

09- up have sensors that prevent the window from closing of there's something in the way. Sometimes when it's raining mine have issues going down as well.

It's odd that there wasn't even a click to be heard from the relay.
Perhaps a thaw/freeze situation,it's that time of year.

This happened to me the night after I bought my 2012 Lariat...I was in the drive through at DQ with my wife and it was embarrassing. I googled it in the parking lot and after many scary suggestions I saw where someone suggested restarting the car. That worked and hasn't happened since. Now when I know I'll need to roll down I test it before I get close just in case.
