This is mine on its first trip to the cabin. I wasn't looking for the color specifically, but it had the features I was looking for in a truck. I have been very happy with it so far (but it has been called a grandpa's truck now that I put a used white topper on it). I will continue to add/change/upgrade as I go along.
I have been running around with the white topper for a little while now and know it looks ridiculous. I was originally going to get it color matched to the green gem. My son mentioned I could go with the tan as an option. Has anyone seen anything with the topper matching an accent color? I photoshopped it to see how it would look and it isn't too bad, but I'm not sure about it. Any thoughts?
So has anybody noticed that there are actually two versions of green gem on the 12th gen trucks?
I was looking at automotivetouchup.com and if you click the link below, there's apparently a green gem metallic, and an nx green gem 2 metallic paint code available for 2012. I've noticed that my truck is a lot darker than most other green gems ive seen, and I wonder if the nx green gem 2 is a lighter paint than standard green gem?

Your truck is beautiful. Love Green Gem. I know people won't agree but you have my favorite wheels on this gen truck. Same wheels I have on mine and I will never change them.
Here's my new-to-me 2012 XLT with the chrome, xlt convenience and xlt plus packages! I got it a little over 3 months ago and I already have a looonnnng list of things I want to do. So far, I've added a rockford fosgate T1 sub, tinted the front windows, added a hellwig rear sway bar, 91 tune, fx4 headlights, undercover flex, and a bedrug.
