Works fine in 2008 Explorer, 2011 Focus, but will not work in 2012 F-150 I just bought. Needless to say this is a little off-putting for me.

I do not have the navigation in my car if I failed to mention this. Just the standard stereo with sync that came with my 2012 f150 screw

From a cursory googling, it appears to work in just about every model of Ford except the F-150. I haven't found one confirmation of it working for F-150s.

The iPhone 4S gets all the new features of iOS 6. It is the 4 that does not recieve all of them. I have a Mini Cooper that has what is called Mini Connect. They say that can now get text messages. I noticed that under the Bluetooth settings it says show all notifications. Like said before, that option is not available in the Bluetooth setting for sync. I think they will have to put a sync update out.

I think its the SYNC not apple. Doesn't make Sense that others work and this doesn't.

Im pretty sure yours will not work, but prove me wrong please and I'll be forced to buy a new phone which will suck! LOL

I fear that the F-150 sync may never support it. It's just so strange that a very specific model doesn't work like that. Has to be because it's a different computer.

It's because Apple won't enable all of the MAP protocol (which is new for iOS 6).

Mustang uses the exact same navigation unit as F-150, can't imagine it working and not our trucks.
