Graphics kit (Hockey Stripes) for 2012 FX4
Hello all, new to the page (just purchased a 2012 FX4). Was wondering where I could have the hockey stripe appearance package installed. Love the look, but couldn't find any trucks in my area with it installed.

Sounds good, I was able to find the graphics kit for around $180 - $200 depending on the website. Hopefully the install cost won't be much, looks like a pretty simple kit to install.

How's she goin' eh?
If you bought factory ones from the stealership, the backside comes with indexing marks to line up the body lines and taillights. You could do it yourself.
I'm not sure if aftermarket ones would have those.
I found out when I had to buy new taillights that you can find OEM items for cheap on eBay. Maybe keep an eye out on there for a cheap set.
When I had to have a sticker replaced on my ranger due to a repainted bedside, the body shop did it for me. I bought my sticker at the dealer for $50. It saved a little bit of the markup from the body guy and he didn't have to do the legwork of calling them for one.

You don't want to go cheap on vinyl. The prep has to be really good as well. If not you will get some lifting and it spreads from there. Not to mention holding up to the elements and the sun.
A cheap vinyl stripe can be in horrible shape in as little as a year. Then you have to remove the stuff, and then spend more money replacing it. Or you just write it off and have wasted money.
As painful as it is, better to apply the "buy once, cry once" philosophy here.
