Looks like they did an excellent job with matching the paint. Glad everybody was ok and the truck is back home.

Default Same truck, same panel...

We are having some trees removed at the house. Yesterday, just as the guys were finishing up, they rammed the truck with one of the loader forks.

Ouch! After all that waiting, now this happens 3 months later.

Hopefully they are fully insured. That's why before you hire anyone to work on your property you ensure they have current workmen's compensation insurance and current liability insurance.

There was a slight mis-match between the hood and front fenders, so I ok'd a bit of paint feathering for the front fenders to blend the paint (to the tune of 500 extra dollars...Ouch!).
That should have been figured in. I see it mostly in the lighter metallics but with two panel edges together like a hood and fender a slight difference is highly noticeable. Blending into the other panel is pretty much always required.

The latest accident may be a sign, though. Tell your wife you don't feel safe in it anymore and need to trade it in for a 2016.

Wow! What a sad couple months for your truck! I hope they get you back on the road again, and you can avoid any further damages. Then again this one may be a magnet for disaster, and its time to upgrade to a less accident prone F150.

My guess is that the guy who was at fault was looking at his cell phone and or texting.
I got hit like that at a stop light by a young women who was texting. I was in my F250 Super duty. My hitch took the hit and while the girls Jetta was all torn up, my F250 received no damage. The police and her insurance company were amazed at that.
I also saw a young women cross the center line while texting and almost got killed and almost killed the driver she hit head on. I turned around to help and the girl crawled out of her car proclaiming, "I know, I know it was my fault. Then retrieved her phone from her totalled car and continued texting.

One of my favorite bumper stickers,

"Want to see God, keep texting while you are driving".
