Default Got rear ended today.

So I've had my truck for three weeks. I was coming back from snowboarding in Keystone Colorado on I-70 eastbound. People started getting on the brakes except for the lady in the 4Runner behind me. Her SUV was most likely totaled. She cracked the plastic on the top of my bumper. I'm still going to have it looked at, but I was very impressed by the destruction to her vehicle and the lack of to mine.

It's all about crumple zones now a days. Trust me, your F-150 has strategically placed holes and notches that were engineered into the front frame so it will " destruct" just like her 4Runner did.

There's some pictures. I thought it held up pretty good for how hard the hit was. Had to tell the kid to get back in his car to get on the brakes so that I could get him out from under my truck.

I'll post pics tomorrow when it's daylight out. I didn't take pictures like a dumb@$$. But I'll give y'all a picture of the bumper tomorrow. It looked very similar to that Mazda above. Even being an SUV it was low enough to drive up under me.

Take a look at the Tri-ball Safe-T mount from Super Bumper: http://sparebumper.com/index.php
Functional, and I feel better just having it back there.

Someone rear ended me on the highway too. His SUV was completely crushed. I had a couple dents in the tail gate and the rear bumper was crushed. That's it. I was surprised to see how little damge to my truck compared to his.

Anyone get hurt?
