Default Good maintenance ideas outside scope of schedule

I want to keep my 2011 5.0L running for as long as I can (forever). It's currently got 140k miles. I'm looking for things to check and maintain that might not be on the maintenance schedule, or may not be commonly thought of.

Currently my plan for 140k, when I get time, is to do the following:
  • Change oil and filter
  • Rotate tires
  • Inspect exhaust system and heat shields
  • Inspect and lubricate all nonsealed steering linkage, ball joints, suspension joints, half and driveshafts and ujoints
  • Inspect brakes, lines, hoses, parking brake
  • Inspect cooling system and hoses
  • Inspect accessory drive belts
  • Inspect battery
  • Inspect power steering system

That list seems fairly comprehensive. Is there anything else that should be checked?

Rust proof it! cab corners, doors, box around wheel wells, check for debris inside bottom of front fenders... clean and rust proof. I used fluid film and am happy. The drivetrains often outlive bodies now days.

If you haven't recently, you could check on the air filter. Quick 5 min task, easy to get to. They're cheap too. I replaced mine after this past winter as it was pretty black and getting kind of nasty. Cleaned that whole area while I was at it collected a few leaves and a lot of sand and salt over the winter.

Another thing I've been doing lately is smearing dielectric grease on stuff whenever I'm in the area, just another simple thing that can't hurt.
