Default Good Or Bad Idea?

I've been giving some thought to lifting my truck up a bit more right now. The only thing is that I don't care to spend the $1,000 on the whole lift kit to accomplish this finish on my truck.

I got the Rancho Loaded QuickLift struts up front right now. It came pretty close to leveling it out, but is off by just a little after settling on the truck. I'd say maybe 1/4" or 1/2" if even that at all.

I was thinking of doing the Ready Lift strut spacer on top of the Rancho Loaded QuickLift and then doing the 1 1/2" block in the back.

Do you think that doing the strut spacer on top of the QuickLift strut would be too much or wouldn't work in my favor? I figured if I did the 2" on top of the QuickLift strut and the 1 1/2" block in the back it wouldn't look too bad.

I'm not too familiar with the Rancho Loaded QuickLift. I'd have a serious concern on what your UCA angle would look like after adding the spacer, esp a 2" spacer.

I talked with my boss about that today and he kind of feels it would be a bad idea. Just because doing that would put a lot of pressure and strain on the suspension up front.

I might just scrap the QuickLift and go with the strut spacer and rear block on the OE equipment. It's not what I want to do, but I may have to do that in order to get the look I am going for at this point without having to spend a ton of money.

Just save up your money and do it right...don't know where you saw a $1000 lift kit either.

$1500 minimum and then you are going to look funny with stock spec rims. Going to need some tires to fill the fender gaps and offset to get the rims to come out a little.

Lift, rims, tires, and alignment is $4000 easy for quality parts, and that is doing the work yourself........(not including a tuner to correct your speedo and any other somewhat needed mods)

I'll probably not end up lifting it or I will just use my tax return for part of the lift purchase on the truck. As for getting the lift at that price, I have some distributors through my company that we get some really good pricing!

If I went to 6" I would definitely get bigger tires, but if I stay with just the level and get bigger tires, then I'm going to stick with stock rims at that point cause getting new rims isn't really worth it to me.
