My local hardware store has cut several keys for my 14 f150.

Thought so. My wife's 14 Escape has one of those. Locksmith with up to date tools should be able to cut it. OEM are laser cut if memory serves.

I went to the dealership and it was 10 dollars...guy actually told me wal mart or lowes could have cut it. But oh well its cut now. Programmed myself in 20 seconds and it works flawlessly.

I went to ace hardware. For my truck. they cut both keys for like 7 bucks. We also got my sisters jeep a new key and got it cut and programmed there. I had 2 keys already so I did my own programming.

Around here, big box stores won't cut anything they don't sell you. Obnoxious. One of them only has an automated machine, now, doesn't cover automobile keys like ours, as far as I can tell. Last time I needed a cut I just did it at the dealer.
