Correct. I regularly have torque running with music in the background.

Now, to connect to sync without buttons, I do have to hit the voice key on the steering wheel and say, "Bluetooth audio", to connect to sync with the tablet. Some people have connected the tablet headphone jack to the auxiliary in via cable which you can go to sync line in with the steering wheel with just buttons using the media key. The only real downside I see with that is sometimes you need to find a good cable that will make sure to cut out ground loop noise from the tablet being charged. If you haven't heard it before its like a whining noise much like a buzz. They make ground loop isolating auxiliary cords that should help if you choose this direction.

Yellowfinii has posted several videos of his tablet in action such as playing music and torque together. He actually moved his factory radio buttons to retain them, he doesn't have to talk to sync to connect the Bluetooth audio.

I was playing around with my tab over the last week and decided I'm going to go this route over bluetooth also.

Have you noticed any sound quality improvement?

Do any of you guys notice any glare issues due to the angle of the dash and the glossy screens of the tablets?

No it's the same as far as I can tell. Even though I lost the ability to change songs from the wheel. Not having to say Bluetooth audio every-time more then made up for it.

When the sun is in the right place, usually sunrise/set, i won't be able to see the screen easily, but i don't typically get a glare.

That reason there is why I like having the controls accessible I had to speak to sync for about a week or so... although it may be safer, it can be a pita when she doesn't understand..haha I prob would of done the same thing. However I bet having the aux-in is nice since that's the default when the truck turns on.

Oh I didn't realize the steering wheel controls only work with bluetooth, I'll probably stay with it then...

The only thing you lose is the ability to flip songs from the wheel everything else is exactly the same. Power amp makes flipping easy with its set up
