Default Gauge question

Hi all,
Quick question...can someone tell me the purpose of the gauge that shows excelleration using on overhead graphic? It is the one that shows if you are in 2wd, the graph fills in behind the truck and if you are in 4wd, it shows the graph filling in front of the truck.

I just don't see a reason for it so I must be missing something!
And my apoligies if it was brought up before...didn't find anything.

I've also always wondered about the blank screen. Don't remember what app section it's under but it seems weird to have just a blank screen.

Blank screen is for people who don't want anything being displayed in the cluster, especially at night if they have sensitive eyes.

The Off-Road app truck thing just really shows where the power is going.

Doesn't bother me but I guess that makes sense.

Default Blank screen

I usually run mine with blank screen, or the trans. Temp. Screen, just to keep it from being to busy looking. I like my main focus to be on the gauges. I love gauges & hate digital read outs. But I occasionally check fuel mileage etc.
