Default Gauge Cluster Help

White gauge faces!
Lights off at night
Lights On at night in Auto and Manual postions
Alright, I need some info. I just picked up a 2014 FX4 with the appearance package. When the headlights come on, the gauge dials dim to the point that they are difficult to see at a glance. I have the brightness adjustment on the dash maxed and it doesn't fix it. Is there anyway to leave the daytime brightness setting on all of the time????

Sorry but no. Any brighter at night and it would blind you to what's around on the outside of the truck.

That might not be a original gauge cluster. My 2013 FX4 was black and had FX4 above the RPM needle.

Looks like someone put some aftermarket white faced overlays on there.

A Canadian truck that's been swapped to MPH?

My previous truck was a 2013 FX4 and had them same cluster that you describe. Maybe they changed slightly for the 2014's?

It does make you scratch your head. The trucks odometer was reading in KM and I switched it over to miles.
