gas mph
My mods have changed over time..my tires being the first one. Currently I have
- SCT livewire
- K&N Intake
- Full Race CAC
- MagnaFlow Turn Down Exhaust (dumped before the axel)
- Gaped spark plugs down to .028
The only one of these I would even suspect makes a difference on my MPG is the SCT and plugs...and I doubt it helps since I love to get on the gas around the city.

I have a 15 Lariat, 3.5 EB, with stock tires and 20" wheels. I have driven 850 miles so far and only get 14 mpg. The last 2 weeks i have made a point to try to get the best mpg, to see what i could get. I drive 40 miles a day. Half city, the other half highway. Variable speeds. As hard as it is, i have stayed away from flooring it (for testing purposes only) and still 14 mpg. I havent towed anything yet.
Any thoughts as to why the mpg sucks so bad? I know its a truck, but I had a Raptor getting 12mpg, there was a little wishful thinking that the MPG would improve. Just curious. Thanks.
