BEFORE my 305/55/20's went on I would get a MAX 14.6. did not matter if it was highway or city. that was max.
NOW with the level and tires I have been getting 10.8.

I spend on average 90 every 6 days.def not fun bc that does NOT fill the truck up lol.

The truck is a 2010 FX4 5.4L leveled with nitto trail grapplers. I would LOVE to find a programmer to give me 2MPG. Just to see that I could get 13mpg again(the way the truck is), I would do a backflip.

I just saw no reason to have the "hurry, go fill up before it jumps!" Attitude.

The prices around me haven't gone up, in Des Moines the 89 (e10) is 3.69/gal and the 87(pure gas I use) is 3.79/gal. They've been going up little by little, no jumps like what was indicated.

Besides, I may watch the nightly news, but I take their bs with a grain of salt. What they say and what I'm experiencing are two different things.

Also, I went to the Exxon fuel station earlier and their premium (93 pure gas) is only $3.99/gal. However the "race gas" is 110 octane, pure gas, its $12.99/gal.

At the Iowa speedway their pure methanol (racing alcohol used in drag/oval cars) is a mere $4.85/gal.

I usually put in 45.00-52.00 a week depending on the price of fuel. I drive about 30 miles a day.

I have the little 3.7 V6, I don't think they V8 does any worse on fuel usage maybe 2-4 mpg.

Having the V8 is well worth the loss in MPG.

The $15.00 fill-up was from when right before we were going on vacation and I didn't want to fill it all the way up for it to sit for 2 weeks. Other than that, I fill it up all the way.

36 gallon tank.

South Texas 3.49 per gallon. After HEB (grocery chain) gift card, 3.37. The promotonal savings is from Sept 5 - Dec 31. It's a nice promotional that the grocery chain offers.

Well, how's that 6.2L working out for you CA guys now?

My local (7-11 discount) station jumped from $4.17 to $4.39 for reg. unleaded yesterday; wonder what it will be this a.m.?

Just got back from taking my daughter to school.....overnight, it jumped to now $4.50 at the 7-11 discount station. At the Chevron and Shell stations down the street, it is $4.79.

Update: Now, some three hours later, and just back from the gym; the price at this station is now $4.65!! A .48 cent jump in about 36 hours.

California Refiners Ration Gasoline as Prices Near Record...

Jump 30 cents overnight!

Spiking above $5...

L.A. stations run out, close pumps...

$4 gas: Get used to it; $5 coming...

On the news today they said Cali gas stations raised the prices to 6.00 a gallon. I'm not sure what part of Cali, but that nuts.
