Default Gas funnel missing!

Well I had a brain fart in a rush getting home today and forgot to hit the fuel station. SO I desided to empty out a couple of 5 gallon fuel cans that I have for the quads into the truck, and then fill them with fresh gas later. Well my funnel is missing, never needed it in the last year so never knew. Hope I make it to the gas station, becouse then im headed to the dealer, who better fork one over...

I'm sure they'll fork one over for a nominal fee.

Still works with just the gas can spout. Just might spill a little.

I tried the gas can funnel, did not have any luck. Dont think im low enough to run out, just happy I found out now and not in an emergency.

I have tried numorous gas cans and they all have worked. some i had to go at kinda an angle so to hit both sides but they all worked. of coarse i was just doing it with the nozzles to see if it worked. might be harder with a full gas can.

When I first got my 2010 XLT, I was a bit curious about the capless fuel thingie, so I attempted to pour a gallon of fuel in without the funnel.

(Boys are curious, you know).

I didn't have any problem at all. As mentioned, maybe a larger container is too cumbersome to fit into the recepticle properly? I don't know, but I hope the dealer makes it right with you.

Just remember - be polite, and ask nicely!
