gas consumption
Hi all. I'm new to the forum and to the marvelous world of the F-150. My present 4X4 is on it's way out and i'm shopping around for a 2009-2010 F-150. I've read all the specs on gas consumption but would love some real world numbers. Can you guys tell me how much kms/miles you guys do on one tank of gas. I'm looking at a 5.7L or 4.6L with a 136L/36Ggallon tank.
Thanks a lot for all your help

I'm not sure you can buy a 2009-'10 F150 wit ha 36 gal. tank without it being a 4x4. Someone else can chime in here and add more information.
I getting very good fuel mileage with my '10 XLT Screw with a 4.6 engine. I have gotten as high as 20.3 to 20.7 MPG at 70 mph and as high as 22.7 mpg at 60-62 mph.

I know you army asking about the EB, but if you start looking that way the 26 gallon isn't horrible for most driving. I think the biggest issue would be towing where your MPG would severely drip. This last road trip I was getting 450-500 miles till E which is greater then what this bladder can handle.
Good luck picking your truck.
