I covet those blacked out HID lights. Drool.

 

Only problem with hids is they aren't auto leveling as far as I know. Throw in a heavy load or tow a heavy load, you'll be blinding people. Add a leveling kit without readjusting headlights makes it even worse with a real load.

 

How is that different from any headlight?

 

Just ordered a set of heads and tails from Tasca, supposed to be here next Thursday.

 

Not except HIDs are more blinding.

 

Thanks for the info guys, I'm skeptical about buying offline.. I'll try the dealer then if they don't make a deal I'll get them offline. I don't mind the chrome lights on the white truck at all, but the black would look awesome with the grille! Oh BTW any 5.0 guys, do a muffler delete (leave the resonator). I can't get over the sound of the 5.0, I can't help smile every time I drive it. Had a guy at the gym with a 5.0 ask me how did I make it sound like that.

 

Get them from Tasca Ford on Ebay. Bought my Tails from them and they are OEM and packaged very well from damage. Most dealers wont touch their prices since they don't stock the part so you're going to have to order them anyways.

 

I just scored a set of lightly-used FX headlights on Ebay for $75. I think that's a pretty good deal. They looked to be in good shape.

I also just ordered a set of FX tail lights from Tasca on Ebay. Those were $122 with free shipping. Yay!

 

You might want to check out local auto salvage yards too. You could find REALLY good deals there
