Fx4 decal removal

Retired and loving it!
Looks much better...took my 4X4 stickers off my Lariat as well.....much "cleaner" look to the truck. My eyes always seemed to go "right there" when the stickers were on.

When I say "dig", I mean lightly rub your nail parrallel to the body of the truck, at a corner of the decal, toward the decal. Not "gouge" the paint. Anyway, getting ready to do this for about the fourth or so time with a new Wrangler we just got for the dealer advertisement decals on the back....

it was pretty easy. My girlfriend took both sides off in under 5 mins. She used a heat gun on low setting and it just peeled off in one take. No residue left behind. I'm sure you can get the same results with a blow dryer. Looks much better.

I did it too. It took about five minutes with a heat gun, like KBS said.
If you've got a bit of residue left behind just use WD-40, rub it a bit and it will be gone. Of course you should soap off the WD-40 residue right away. Then clay bar, wax, polish, etc, etc, etc...
Here is a not-so-good pic of mine after having removed the stickers and waxed. I fussed a bit as I pulled the first sticker off, as I had looked up the replacement cost beforehand. I very much prefer the clean look and have no regrets.
