Default FX4 20" Wheels on Lariat?

I have a 2012 Sterling Grey Lariat with the chrome package and stock 18" wheels. I put winter tires on my stock wheels so I am in the market for 20" summer wheels. I really like the newer 20" FX2/FX4 wheels but I'm not sure if the hyper grey color will go with the chrome trim and the Sterling Grey paint.

Has anyone tried this combo out? Any pics of similar setups?

Judging by your username..do you live in Okotoks? We may see each other around..Mine is a black 11 FX4 with 20" wheels with an F-150Forum sticker on the back window...I go to high school there..

Don't have anything for you, but I believe there is a member that had that setup on his Lariat. Same color too, I think. It looked really good, these wheels look amazing on any F-150.

I'm wondering if the chrome finish from the bumpers, door handles and grille will clash with the appearance of the gray wheels. It would be nice to see a pic of a truck with a similar setup.

I don't think the chrome will go with the painted gray wheels very well...

But all kinds of people do black wheels with chrome everything else.... Looks awful but a lot of people do it.

Withholding judgement until I see a pic of it.

Buy some and get them chromed. It will look good with the rest of the chrome and will be unlike anyone else on the road.

I was thinking of doing that too but seems it would be costly, as the rims are pricey even if you find them used....

I think Chrome FX4 wheels would look Hot on here.......Im Looking for a 2nd set of wheels for my summer tires either 325/20's or 35" 12.50 17" or 18" BFG KM2

another way to get around the gray not going well with a truck that has a lot of chrome is to have them painted to match the color of the truck. I say if you have a lot of chrome on your truck and want the FX4 20s and for it to look good you gotta either 1.) get rid of most of the chrome on the truck, 2.) Get the 20s chromed, 3.) get the 20s painted to match the truck color.

I think that you guys may be right. I can't go wrong with chrome but it could get pricey. I'm not afraid of too much chrome as I just traded in my 2008 Escalade for my Lariat. Still wonder what it would look like. The closest that I could find was a black Lariat without the chrome package.

Looks decent to me but just worried that the chrome door handles, mirrors etc and the Sterling Grey paint on my truck would clash with the grey wheels.

And to answer the guy from Okotoks, it truly is a small world. Who would have thought that anyone on here would even know where our town is.
