Fuse Box? 2011 Fx4
I cannot for the life of me find the fuse box! I am having to redo the pins on my HID retro fit to get the high/low beams to work and apparently while doing so have blown a fuse. I only see 1 fuse box in the inside of the hood above the radiator in the center. Can someone help ASAP please!
Thanks! Found it, replaced fuses, headlights now operational. Black, Blue, Orange was the order needed to make low and high beams work properly. Came wired as orange, black, blue.
For those people who read this thread and then can't figure out why nothing reset: when you pull Fuse #2 (for 2013 the fuse box is in the engine compartment on top of the radiator), you will then need to replace the fuse, turn your truck on (MFT will not light up then), turn your truck off, then turn your truck back on again. You will then get a "Performing Scheduled Maintenance" message on a SYNC black screen.
I was having problems with my iPod classic not being reconized by the system and this fixed it in a jiffy. I just wish SYNC would index faster...having to re-index 80gb of music is going to take some time.

a buddy of mine asked me to help him figure out why his plug and play HID kit wouldnt cycle from high to low beams either.... after playing around with it and knowing that the ground was the "common" between the 2 intensities, I also swapped the ground wire with one of the leads..... worked like a charm after that!
i wonder why there are kits being sold with reversed wiring??? OR, does ford just use opposite wiring from most others?
One word of advise with regards to pulling fuses in these trucks. Put something (shop towel or something similar) at the bottom of the space behind the kick panel BEFORE you pull a fuse. I dropped one and boy was it a hassle getting it out of that well that is at the bottom.
