Default fuel pump cutoff

A friend of mine told me that in very severe offroad conditions, some f150s fuel pumps stops working because the onboard computer thinks the truck was involved in a crash.

He also told me that there is a reset switch somewhere in case this happens.

Is this true ?

I haven't got my '09 yet, but on most models, it's located on the right side under the dash.

You are going to hit it awful hard to trip that switch. I jumped a dune and on landing pushed the fenders of my 97 into the doors and it didn't even skip a beat.

Here is the location on my 2005 Lariat. I don't know, but I would assume that it is in the same location on the 2009.
