Default Front tow hooks

I have a 2013 w/ Ecoboost, 2 wheel drive. With all the rain in SC lately I got stuck on a flat grassy spot in a front yard. My friend had a tow chain but the problem was, where to hook to the front of my truck. No tow hooks on the front and the valance panels are very low. The lower control arms appear to be aluminum. I wound up using the lower control arm to attach the chain. All I needed was a simple pull to get my truck rolling so no major deal but not sure where or how to hook to a chain to the front of my truck if the situation is worse. Any suggestions?

Thanks! Not sure why Ford did not at least make the openings.

I could never own a pickup that got stuck on a flat wet lawn. That's why my truck is 4x4 with the e-locker. If I had a 4x2 I would have to have an e-locker.

I won't argue your position. In my case my wants are larger than my financial means and needs. First time this has happened in 3 years, and it may have been the drain field to the septic tank that threw the curve. If I had 4 wheel I may have dug up the entire system

My truck is 2wd also, I purchased a 4x4 valence so I could install the tow hooks.

Nice looking truck! That is what I will do. If I start looking I bet a used valance can be found. I don't have the skills to cut a hole in mine and make it neat looking. Thx for sharing.
