Default Front of seat not hooked underneath

I bought my 2009 5.4L supercrew about a month ago. I tried searching for this, but couldn't find anything. The leather on the front seats both are not attached when you look under the front of them. It has a plastic trim piece that the leather is attached to that looks like it should attach to something, but I can't see where. Any ideas? Thanks!

The plastic piece clips over the metal subframe of the seat. It's hard to explain in words but if you google for seat cover installation you'll see how it all goes together.

It kind of loops over and attaches to the metal of the seat frame. It's essentially another loop than what you would expect. At least that's what it seemed like to me when I did it. Once you do it the first time you'll say "OHHHHH that's how it goes!!!!" lol.

This is the video that referenced when I replaced my lower covers that had holes in them:
