Front License Plate Bracket
Bought a new 2011 F150 Screw Lariet back on June 30th. Didn't really pay attention but it doesn't have a bracket on the front. Stopped by the dealer today to get one thinking they'd just give me one. Wanted to charge me $17 something plus tax. Pretty sure on the sticker said it was included but can't find the sticker. Salesman is no longer there but another one said he watch for one off another truck. If someone has one for free, I'll take it. Thanks for letting me steam.
What is your VIN? Can't you just get a copy of your sticker online? Here in Nebraska it is required for the dealer to have one on it.
From my window sticker:
FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET NO CHARGE

Is it required in your state? I would think if it is required to have a front plate they would have to give it to you, if not required and you just want a vanity plate then I could see it being optional.
If you bought it June 20th then you must not have had to put a front plate on, that is why they don't give you one. I really wish NE didn't require a front plate, no way in hell I would EVER use the front plate if I didn't have to by law.
