So, I have a 2013 FX4, it came with the standard 2 bar-C-style grille. I thought I would like the "new raptor" mock grill, and honestly I hate it, something just doesn't seem right to me, even with the proper F+R. Ultimately, I just ended swapping back out to the factory, and sticking the other in a closet. I've seen where a couple members have gone to the 2014? STX Sport grille in black, and love that look, however the damn thing is $500+ anyone know what is the reasoning for this? Is there an aftermarket version of it? I think I paid less that $300 for that raptor grille. I can't post in the WTB yet, but just curious if anyone knows where I can track one of these down, for less than an arm and a leg + my first born.

 

If perchance you'd consider an alternative grille choice, how about a -used- blacked-out Platinum grille?
