If I had an FX ( which is my second favorite Truck ) I would be in complete agreement with you but I've got a Platinum and every single one of my friends has a blacked out truck and Harley so this time around I'm going to be different as I'm not into Plasti Dip and there too much chrome to paint.

I'm gonna call Tuscany today and find out if I can buy a set and the have the fender cut, looks pretty simple. I just need to figure out if the F150 Platinum emblem will fit in the top slot.

You can't buy the parts from Tuscany unless you have a marching Tuscany Vin Number. But if you need some Tuscany parts let me know know what year and model Tuscany truck part you need, I'm able to get them as a paint shop

Are the vents routed to the engine bay or intake? If intake I would think it would hurt you, cause it would form a vacuum not pressure. If engine bay is say it's a get idea to remove heat.

How are you going to vent from the inner engine bay wall out to the fender (to the vent)?

I'm not trying to be a pill here; I like the idea, but just see a lot of "behind the scenes" work to make this work as planned.
