Default front end suspension noise at full lock??

I've got a 2013 FX4....anytime you, for example, pull in or out of a driveway with an incline with the wheels at full lock, I've got an obnoxious squeak/creak/scream noise coming from the front end suspension area. I personally try not to hit any bumps like this with the wheels at full lock, but the ol lady does it every friggin time

Regardless, does anyone know what it is or have the same experience? If I just need to lube something, I'd rather just handle it than dealing with taking it in....

It's the bump stop. Turn the wheel to full turn and look under the front end to see the bump stop. It's metal on metal, it's gonna make a noise!!!

bumpstop or steering limiter? I thought it was the steering limiter.

Mine does it. I try not to turn it hard, but when turning right into my driveway it's difficult because the driveway bends to the right. When you put full lock stress on it the suspension will creak. The front suspension parts are rubbing together. I've had many vehicles that do the same. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Normally I wouldn't worry too much about it, but it's LOUD! Just still a little **** I guess.... Less than 2k miles, $50k truck, it should be perfect lol

Maybe a bumpstop steering limiter?

My truck and my wife's both do it, but only at steering full lock and hitting a bump. FX4 & 2wd Lariat. I don't turn that sharp in my truck anymore, but my wife does it all the time in hers.
